figure skating competitions should not bring tears to my eyes. but they do. pourquoi? why am I totally whelmed by spinning little ladies and tastefully dramatic music? it's a question as old as time.

the drudgery of work today was a blinding contrast to my superfantastic weekend away. it's a tough transition to make from the high highs to the low lows.
